Reaching the pinnacle of elite sport requires a huge level of effort, determination and support from others. There is a fascinating background to this level of success; tales of highs, of lows, and of powerful relationships.

We present this idea through brief and informal interviews with 3 key players in the Swedish Women’s national team, each with a different background and story to tell: Nathalie Björn, Madelen Janogy & Zećira Mušović.

When these players were aspiring young football players they didn’t have the same plethora of different professional Swedish football players to be inspired by. But now, the Swedish women’s national football team has an impressive presence in all the best leagues in the world – and we want to show this as an inspiration to younger players.

The interviews are edited together with shots of the players training into social media ads. And then we will use the same set-up for interviews with 3 female youth players, to show that the footballing heroes of the future also have interesting stories to tell.
